So once again...

I seem to get sick and not post on here. To be fair, my internet wasnt working for several days either. que preguiça! However after drinking some AMAZING garlic tea (eck) I was feeling better and headed out for carurú. Basically like a Bahian Bar-b-que. There was chicken, rice, beans, okra, fried bread and more. It was DELICIOUS and I love spending time with brazilians. Not that I dont love spending time with my american friends here, but it is just an entirely different experience. I have also noticed that on days when I only speak Portuguese, by the end of the day I feel like I am speaking more fluently. More updates to follow, I am starting to write down thoughts in a notebook so I dont forget something important. Like almost getting run over by a bus. Or should I say not gettting run over...
