Snowballs....in BRASIL???

So I have been meaning to post for a while about the church that I go to here. As most of you know I am "very" Catholic. (Cant remember at right now whos the one that always says that about me. lol) But I have actually been going to an Evangelical Church here that two of my Brazilian friends introduced me to. I really like it because one, its a Christian church. And theres not that many differences among Christians. Two, the congergation is all young, my age. It is great for making friends and getting to know other Brazilians with the same morals as me.
Services are AWESOME! We start out with praise time in the beginning, singing for like 2 hours. Then comes the service, which I still have some problems understanding....and then fellowship time afterwards.
Then on Monday nights I go to a Bible study group in English.
Heres the funny part. The name of the church translates to Snowball Church. Many people here also call it the "surfer" church because the church uses extreme sports (mainly surfing) to keep kids out of trouble and to help adults overcome other issues.
I took some pictures, so take a look. YES the altar is a surfboard. radical man. hahaha
Unfortunally, the church recently moved locations for the expanding congergation, and I didnt get pictures of the old place which was BEAUTIFUL. People are still working on the new church, and I am sure in time it will look just as awesome.
Sorry that was so much, guess I just had a lot to say today!

Church. Yes the music is rock.
